Xand offers a variety of shared and dedicated storage solutions to meet a broad range of enterprise requirements. For those organizations needing a secure, high-availability, expandable data storage, Xand’s shared SAN is a cost-effective option compared with purchasing a fixed-capacity system. If terabyte-plus capacity or data replication is required, Xand provisions and manages both direct-attached and SAN from industry-leading vendors. Less mission-critical and near-real-time storage is accommodated with network and fiber-attached SATA. The level of availability and performance guarantees differentiates each class of storage.

Storage Area Network
Xand can supply storage on either our shared SAN or with units dedicated to a customer environment. Special features of SAN units include choice of single or dual HBA connections, standard RAID levels, fibre or serial ATA drives, volume management and dual path technologies, and scalability options.

Network Attached Storage
Xand can provision dedicated NAS devices based on customer requirements. Special features include IP based network access and fully configurable RAID options.

Direct Attached
Data availability on the various types of directly attached devices is managed to high degree of reliability. Special features include SCSI or fibre channel connections, fully configurable RAID options, redundant switch/controller configuration, and various vendor software based technologies.

Server Resident SCSI RAID Configurations
These RAID configurations are provided through caching RAID controllers installed in servers. Depending on the controller configuration, data storage performance and availability can be maximized to meet your requirements at our Westchester data center.
